1 Appearance It occurs as clear, colourless, hygroscopic, viscous liquid.
2 Solubility It is miscible with water, with acetone, and with ether in all proportions, but is immiscible with fixed oils.

4 Distillation Range 200°–215°.
5 Specific Gravity 1.004–1.006 at 20°.
6 Assay Not less than 99.0% of C4H10O2.

MOLHOL® BUT is packed in HDPE drum or IBC packing having bar-coded label.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Store in well-closed containers.
