3 Solubility It is sparingly soluble in alcohol.

5 Reducing Sugars Any turbidity in the xylitol flask is not more than that in the dextrose flask, in which a reddish-brown precipitate forms (0.2% reducing sugars, as dextrose).
6 Limit of Other Polyols The sum of the polyols is not more than 2.0%, calculated on the anhydrous basis.
7 Water Determination Not more than 0.5%.
8 Assay Not less than 98.5% and not more than 101.0% on the anhydrous basis.

PACKAGING

MOLHOL® XYL is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
